Day 1 - Bastia
The tour starts in Bastia, capital of upper Corsica. Depending on your arrival time, you can visit the citadel, the old city and it's little harbour (excellent place for a good diner).
Night in Bastia.
Day 2 - From Bastia to Sisco 15 or 30km
After breakfast, you take your bicycle and leave northwards; the road follows the coastline. Enjoy the views over the crystal clear waters and the numerous hidden creeks which could shelter you for a swim if you wish to. When you cross the little fisher village of Erbalunga, don't hesitate to stop for a moment in this charming place.
Night in Sisco.
Day 3 - From Sisco to Macinaggio 22km
Still following the coastal road, today you'll have the possibility to take a swim in one of the many little creeks. Once you have reached Macinaggio you can whether relax at the beach or go for a short walk on the well-know path "Sentier des Douaniers".
Night in Macinaggio
Day 4 - From Macinaggio to Canari 43 or 59km
A wonderful day to enjoy the stunning views you'll have from the road, which is winding along the coast and its cliffs. Corsica in full beauty! Tonight you will stay in the village of Canari.
Day 5 -From Canari to Saint-Florent 31 or 36 km
Todays highlight will probably be Nonza, one of the most spectacular villages of Corsica. It overlooks a "black beach" and from the beautiful Genoese tower you will have a rare view over the coast. The landscapes changes to limestone’s mountains and vineyards (you can stop at Patrimonio for a little wine tasting). Your over night stop is Saint Florent, where you have to visit the citadel and the harbour!
Day 6 -From Saint-Florent to Bastia 30 or 40 km
Last but not least, this stage is the toughest, with the climb to the pass of Teghime (+536 Metres). There you can see both coasts; the gulf of St Florent on the west and the Marana beach on the east.
Night in Bastia.
Day 7 - End of the tour
End of the tour after breakfast.
