 
Friseland is really famous among cyclers for its calm and nature. It is the oldest part of Holland which was developped thanks to sailing and business.
There, landscape is maily determined by agriculture with wide meadows, wheat fields and typical farms.In this country landscape, the road winds, crossing tracks and little paths. Another important element of this environnement are the bridges that jump over ditches and the sailing boats that pitch like white swans over huge lakes.
Some picturesque villages, historical towns and Frisian costumes come to complete the picture of the greenest province of Netherlands

Day 1 - Stavoren, boarding at 4 PM and bike to Makkum 30 km
Day 2 - Makkum to Franeher 45 km
Day 3 - Franeher to Leeuwarden 50 km
Day 4 - Leeuwarden loop route via Dokkum 50km
Day 5 - Leeuwarden to Sneek 42km
Day 6 - Sneek to Sloten 26km
Day 7 - Sloten to Stavoren 35km
Day 8 - Stavoren end of the tour before 10 AM
