A bike and boat trip going through the typical Netherlands country side. This tour will lead you on the north western part of Amsterdam. There, the cheese is still handmade and you will be able to see how the typical dutch sabot is made out of a piece of wood.
It is only in the 17th century, that this area gained ground on the ocean thanks to hundreds of windmills. A lot of them are still working today. Such as the "Zaanse Schans" where windmills and houses revive the old days.
You will ride on the dikes and paths. Indeed, this northern route takes itineraries in the famous Dutch polders and then in the most beautiful dune area of Netherlands : from Bergen to Schoorl.
Then, you will crossing to Texel, an island of thousand flocks with a wonderful natural park that can be discovered by bike. In Enkhuizen, Edam and Voledam, famous port towns from the Golden Age, you will appreciate "the old Holland" atmosphere, costumes, sail boats, country landscapes.
At the end of the program, you will discover Amsterdam.

Day 1 - Amsterdam boarding at 4 PM ( loop route 20km )
Day 2 - Amsterdam to Volendam 42 km
Day 3 - Volendam to Enkhuizen 58 km or Hoorn to Enkhuizen 27 km
Day 4 - Visit Zuiderzee museum. Enkhuizen to Oude Zeug 40 km Then sailing to Texel.
Day 5 - Loop route in Texel island 40/ 50/ 66 km
Day 6 - Sailing to Den Helder and then riding to Alkmaar. 58 km
Day 7 - Alkmaar to Zaanse Schans (windmills) and Amsterdam. 58km or from Zaandam 20 km
Day 8 - Amsterdam. End of the tour before 10 AM
