You will ride in the heart of the wild Camargue and through landscapes that were so dear to Van Gogh. You will discover Provençal villages, vineyards and lavender fields.
You will cycle along with horses, flamingos and bulls in the middle of cane and rice fields. Higher, the landscape turns to limestone cliffs with its lavender and olive trees. Then you will discover the Rhone Valley and its famous vineyards like Chateauneuf-du-Pape.
This tour is marked by provençal culture. The villages, you will be riding through, will reveal all its secrets. Passing by Arles, ancient Gaul capital, you will enjoy the beautiful Roman Ruins. The itinerary will lead you to Saint Rémy de Provence, place of birth of Nostradamus and the best preserved Roman Aqueduc of Europe : Pont du Gard. You will also ride to Avignon, the famous City of the Popes.

Day 1 - Arrival and embarkation from 6 p.m. in Aigues-Mortes on the former military and commercial port on the Mediterranean.
2nd day - Loop cycle tour around Aigues-Mortes (55 km)
Drive through the small country roads of the Camargue between canals, lagoons and small villages. You will have the chance to see black bulls and horses typical of the region as well as flamingos! In the afternoon, you reach the charming fishing village of Le Grau-du-Roi. Possibility of joining the sea for a swim.
3rd day - Aigues-Mortes to Arles (25 km)
You navigate to St Gilles then take the bike to the city of Arles. Known for its ancient riches and its Roman heritage. Lose yourself in its little alleys straight out of a Van Gogh painting. In the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to be greeted by a professional guide who will accompany you to discover the hidden treasures of the city.
4th day - Arles to Vallabreguès (55 km)
Here is a breathtaking stage, which takes you to the Alpilles to discover the hilltop villages of Baux-de-Provence and St Rémy de Provence. A landscape of limestone cliffs and olive trees await you. You will embark in Vallabrègues, a pretty Provencal village on the banks of the Rhône.
5th day - Vallabrègues - Aramon (35 km)
You arrive in Barbentane by country roads, overlooking the castles at the confluence of the Rhône de la Durance. Visit of the magnificent abbey of St Michel de Frigolet then join the medieval village of Boulbon. In the afternoon, navigation to Aramon for the night with a magnificent view of Mont Ventoux.
6th day - Aramon to Avignon (40 km)
Today's stage takes you to the best-preserved Romanesque aqueduct in Europe: the Pont du Gard, a spectacular job. Return to Aramon in the afternoon. Navigation to Avignon, the city of the Popes. Boarding on the Ligne quay, near the famous St Bénezet bridge.
7th day - Avignon loop (30 km)
You take the other bank of the Rhône crossing the island of Barthelasse. You drive through a typical landscape of the garrigue between vineyards and orchards. Visit of Villeneuve-Lès-Avignon, known to be the city of the cardinals. In the afternoon, visit to the historic center of Avignon.
8th day - Avignon, end of the stay after breakfast.
