From Lannion to Paimpol by bike on the Pink Granite Coas

Discover a must-see Breton destination by bike, starting from Lannion. This coastal area offers incredible panoramas of the sea, granite boulders, and charming historic Breton ports. You can admire the Ploumanac'h lighthouse and stroll through the seaside resort of Perros-Guirec before reaching the lively port of Paimpol. The route is designed to stay as close to the sea as possible.

Day 1: Arrival in Lannion
Lannion is a charming historic city and a perfect stop before cycling along the Pink Granite Coast. Enjoy your free time strolling through its narrow streets, visiting its church and monastery, and wandering along the banks of the Léguer River. Its colorful houses and beautiful mansions give it a unique atmosphere. Overnight in Lannion.
Day 2: From Lannion to Perros-Guirec (52 km)
This first leg of your cycling journey in northern Brittany begins inland. After a few kilometers, you'll encounter the famous Pink Granite at Treberden, a seaside resort with beautiful sandy beaches. The route continues through Saint-Samson and its charming church, then past the radome with its futuristic design (Brittany Planetarium). You'll see the coastline at its most vibrant in Trégastel and Ploumanac'h. Perros-Guirec, your stop for the night, is now just a short distance away. Head to Pointe du Château to enjoy a spectacular panoramic view.

Day 3: From Perros-Guirec to Tréguier via the Gorse Coast (49 km)
Hop on your bike and head towards Port Blanc. Along the way, you'll enjoy breathtaking views of the Gorse Coast: jagged headlands, rocky islets, small beaches, and lunar-like shores unfold before you. Cycling along the Jaudy estuary, you'll arrive in Tréguier. This charming town, a former episcopal city, offers a journey back in time with its narrow streets, half-timbered houses, and Saint Tugdual Cathedral. A quintessential Breton village!

Day 4: From Tréguier to Paimpol via the Trégor Peninsula (43 km)
This final leg takes you to Paimpol. Before you get there, there are a few surprises in store along the way. Drive along the wild Lézardieux peninsula, nestled between the beautiful Jaudy and Trieux valleys. You'll reach the tip of the Trégor peninsula, where you can admire the Sillon de Talbert. This sand and pebble spit stretches nearly 3 km into the sea! Continue on to Paimpol, a former fishing port. In the charming town center, you'll find imposing shipowners' houses that bear witness to the port's importance from the 17th to the 20th centuries.

Day 5: Paimpol
The tour ends after breakfast. You can extend your stay on the Pink Granite Coast with one or more additional nights. The nearby island of Bréhat is well worth a visit.
