The Alsace Vineyard Cycle Route stretches from Marlenheim to Thann, passing through, among other places, Obernai, Sélestat, Colmar, Riquewihr, and Eguisheim. In addition to offering hillside vineyards and prestigious Grands Crus, these wine-growing villages are also among the most beautiful in France. Eguisheim was voted "France's Favorite Village" in 2013. It's a pleasure to linger in the charming squares, along the flower-filled canals, or on the terraces to taste a local vintage.
This picture is completed by an impeccable cycling network, allowing for a relaxed ride. As for the elevation gain, expect a few climbs (because of the hillsides!). Fortunately, we offer the Alsace Wine Route by electric bike.

When we mention Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Gamay, and Aligoté, do you think of the Burgundy Wine Route by Bike? You're a connoisseur! Burgundy is renowned for producing world-renowned wines, both red and white. There are no fewer than 33 Grands Crus in the region, between the Côte de Beaune, Chablis, and Côte de Nuits.
If Burgundy is very strong in terms of vineyards, it is also very strong in terms of cycling! The region was a pioneer in this area, having offered a greenway between Givry and Cluny since 1997. Today, it's a delight to explore Burgundy by bike. It's easy to cycle along the Burgundy Canal, the Nivernais Canal, or at the foot of the hillside vineyards. It's thus easy to discover the incredible Burgundian heritage: Hospices de Beaune, Vézelay Basilica, Cluny Abbey, and more.
If you appreciate authentic villages, the Burgundy Wine Route by Bike is also for you: Irancy, Chablis, Beaune, and Vézelay offer a journey through time and remarkable old stone buildings. The France we love!
Margaux, Saint-Émilion, Cadillac, Margaux, Pauillac, and Saint-Estèphe... all these great names are on the itinerary of our Bordeaux Wine Route by Bike tour! Departing from Bordeaux, take a beautiful bike path to the first vineyard to be listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A succession of charming villages, pretty country houses, roads and paths winding through the vineyards, and prestigious estates await you.
The Bordeaux Wine Route by Bike also offers an opportunity to discover a beautiful diversity of landscapes: Entre Deux-Mers, Médoc, the Gironde Estuary...
If you're a fan of Champagne or Beaujolais wines, we also have something for you. We've mapped out two wine cycling routes in these regions to discover the magnificent landscapes they have to offer and taste the excellent wines they produce.
Head to "Little Tuscany," as Beaujolais is known, to visit hilltop villages, admire the famous Soluté Rock, and taste delicious red wines.
If you prefer sparkling wines, head out on the roads and paths between Reims and Épernay. In the Marne Valley, in the Champagne hills, or among prestigious estates, a delightful route awaits you.
While abroad, head to Portugal's famous Douro Valley and visit renowned wineries in Porto. In Italy, another wine-loving country, we offer a gastronomic excursion to Puglia.
