What is B/B and a half-board (1/2 pension in french)?
- The B/B (bed and breakfast) is a service that includes the night and the breakfast.
- The half-board includes the dinner, the night and the breakfast.
What is a single supplement (single room) ?
Single rooms are available in most of our tours. It is a supplement indexed on the price of the double room. Without special request from you, a double room will be booked. Please let us know your wishes.
How the luggage is transported ?
As part of tour in freedom, your luggage is conveyed by one of our partners in contact with the different hotels of the circuit. We ask you to close your bags and to let them at the hotel reception before leaving. The luggage will be picked up at 9:00 AM and delivered before 5:00PM at the next hotel. In case of modification of this schedule, you will be advised when arriving at the hotel.
What should I bring for this trip ?
An indicative list of accessories will be provided. However, you may decide to take extra accessories. Depending on the route, some personal effects will not be necessary. Feel free to contact our team to get advise on the travel arrangements.
What if I cancel ?
See "Cancellation Insurance". We will charge you for any cancellations within 60 days before the start of the tour. When booking, you can subscribe to a cancellation insurance. Do not hesitate to contact our office : 33(0)184.108.40.206.68 or 33(0)220.127.116.11.56 and ask for the different coverage possibilities.
What if it rains ?
This is not a case considered by the cancellation insurance, we try to handle the maximum of services involved in our tours, but not the weather ....
Can we travel by bike with a dog ?
No for security reasons, our canine friends are not allowed.
What meals are included ?
French cuisine is well established, so why deny it?
Always in moderation, of course ! All of our tours offer you to taste local products, but also advise you on places to visit (vineyards, etc ...) and specialties to sample. However, the services of each tour are different, we recommend you to read the description.
Concerning the included meals, if you have a specific requirement (vegetarian. ..), let us know when booking, so we can make the arrangements with our hotels and restaurants.
In general, beverages are not included with the meal.
What is the difference between 1, 2, 3 or 4 stars hotels ?
The classification of hotels is based on their fittings and services offered to the clients. Most of our hotels belong to category 2 or 3 stars. This classification will guarantee you a high quality of service, toilet and shower services in the room, as a minimum.
Most of these hotels also have a restaurant, and if this is not the case, they have an agreement with a restaurant located near the hotel. You can also ask to let your bike in a garage or a special place dedicated to that in your room. The hotels of our tours are used to host cycling clients, so do not worry about it. In general, our hotels ensure a good quality service and focus on the comfort of their customers. Extra services may be available in some hotels, such as picnics.
Is there tours in guest rooms ?
Yes, week-ends and short stay in Marais Poitevin and partly on Gironde tours. We advice you before booking and the quality of the guest rooms is the quality of a 2 stars hotel. Meals are served in a restaurant nearby or on site, in case of "guest dinner and room" (table d'hôte in french)
How do I get to the starting point of the tour ?
The various connections to the starting points may be settled with our office. Our agency can also get information and book for you airplane, TGV trains, but also local trains and car rental.
Am I totally independent in these tours in freedom ?
The circuits in freedom does not mean that you have to take care of every detail of your stay ! Indeed, luggage transportation is included and you benefit from most of the services of an organized tour. So you are independent and free to choose what you want to do during the tour, but that does not mean you're alone and without assistance in case of trouble.
How can I book a tour ?
It's very simple : fill out the registration form (Bulletin d'inscription) attached to our catalog, or fill out the registration form at the bottom of the technical specifications of each item on the site. Please read carefully the terms and conditions of the contract.
You can also contact our office dialing 33(0)18.104.22.168.68 and begin the registration process with one of our reservation agents. We will confirm your reservation when we have checked the availability of the tour, on the dates you've requested.
How can I pay for the tour ?
1. By bank transfer, you will find our bank details on the right bottom of your invoice.

2. By check, payable to the Bicyclette Verte. Our address is on the registration form.
3. By credit card, we send you a authorization of card payment.
Authorization that must be completed and returned with your signature.
