The Channel Islands by bike: Jersey, Guernsey and Sark
Embark in Saint-Malo for an unfamiliar destination: the Channel Islands! With a remarkable cycling network, the islands of Jersey, Guernsey and Sark can be visited in total serenity while enjoying the many treasures that are sheltered there. Discover flowery hilly landscapes, charming chapels, elegant cottages, lively ports and pretty mills. The coastline offers alternating fine sandy beaches and rocky points. In Sark, the atmosphere is even more peaceful and only the noise of horse-drawn carts disturbs the bike ride.

Note: the organization of this trip is subject to the schedules and availability of boat crossings. The 3 islands are part of the United Kingdom and are therefore on Greenwich Mean Time (a difference of minus one hour). This also means that you need a valid passport to go there and have your ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization).
Day 1: Crossing to Jersey and West Coast Loop (41 km / + 280 m)
Early morning, board a boat in Saint-Malo to reach Jersey. Upon arrival, you'll be transferred directly to your hotel. Hop on your bike and cycle along the vast bay of Saint-Ouen, framed by the Pointe de Corbière and the Groznez cliffs. The coastline is dotted with fortifications dating back to World War II.

Day 2: Jersey North Shore Loop (38 km / + 365 m)
Cycle through the island's Vallée Verte, a natural setting that leads you to the north coast. There, you'll discover the impressive cliffs of Grève de Lecq, sculpted by the winds and tides, offering breathtaking views of the ocean. Stop at the fascinating "Devil's Hole," a geological curiosity where waves crash with force. On the way back to Saint Helier, pass through the charming village of Saint John's, perfect for a break before wrapping up this wonderful getaway.

Day 3: Jersey East Coast Loop (34 km / + 310 m)
Head east for a day full of discoveries! Stop at the charming port of "Le Rocque." Continue your journey to the Pottery Museum, a testament to ancestral craftsmanship, before reaching the impressive Mont Orgueil Castle, which has watched over the bay for over 800 years. Along the way, marvel at the vast golden expanses of Saint Clement and Grouville Bays, ideal for a contemplative break or a refreshing swim.

Day 4: Guernsey and Jerbourg Point (24 km / + 340 m)
Crossing (1 hour) to Guernsey. The day will be organized according to the crossing time. Disembark in Saint Peter, where the loop begins. Cycle to Jerbourg Point, which offers a magnificent panorama of the rugged coastline, Moulin Huet Bay, and the small anchorage port of Saint's Bay. Return to Saint Peter via narrow streets and leafy paths.

Day 5: The Island of Sark on Foot (14 km / + 460 m)
After an hour's crossing (without cycling), you disembark on Sark. This island, cut off from the rest of the world, thrives on traditional activities such as fishing, crafts, and agriculture. There are no cars on the island, making it a paradise for pedestrians and cyclists! Visit the Seigneurie Gardens and the Passage de la Coupée, which are unmissable. If you'd like to explore by bike, you'll need to rent one on site (around £9). Return to Guernsey for the night.

Day 6: Guernsey West Coast Loop (29 km / + 250 m)
Today's route takes you through a bucolic landscape, cycling among hills and through pretty pastures before reaching the beautiful Rocquaine Bay, home to the mysterious island of Lihou and the ruins of its former priory. On the return journey, you'll pass through Talbot Valley and visit the charming parish of Saint Andrew, located in the heart of the island. Overnight in Saint Peter.

Day 7: Return to Saint-Malo
Enjoy your free time to visit Victor Hugo's extravagant house, or stroll one last time through the narrow streets of the city center. Crossing to Saint-Malo (included) according to the ferry schedule. End of your stay after the ferry crossing.
