The Channel Islands by bike: Jersey, Guernsey and Sark
Embark in Saint-Malo for an unfamiliar destination: the Channel Islands! With a remarkable cycling network, the islands of Jersey, Guernsey and Sark can be visited in total serenity while enjoying the many treasures that are sheltered there. Discover flowery hilly landscapes, charming chapels, elegant cottages, lively ports and pretty mills. The coastline offers alternating fine sandy beaches and rocky points. In Sark, the atmosphere is even more peaceful and only the noise of horse-drawn carts disturbs the bike ride.

Note: the organization of this trip is subject to the schedules and availability of boat crossings. The 3 islands are part of the United Kingdom and are therefore on Greenwich Mean Time (a difference of minus one hour). This also means that you need a valid passport to go there and have your ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization).
Day 1: Crossing to Jersey and West Coast Circuit (42 km / + 625 m)
Embark in Saint-Malo early in the morning to join Jersey. Upon arrival, you are transferred directly to your hotel. Hop on your bike to pedal along the immense bay of Saint-Ouen, framed by the Corbière headland and the Groznez cliffs. The coastline is dotted with fortifications dating from the Second World War.
Overnight in Saint-Hélier.
Day 2: Jersey North Coast Loop (37 km / + 620 m)
Pedal through the island's “Vallée Verte”, a natural setting that leads you to the north coast. There, you'll discover the impressive cliffs of Grève of Lecq, sculpted by the winds and tides, offering a breathtaking panorama of the ocean. Stop off at the fascinating “Trou du Diable”, a geological curiosity where the waves come crashing in. On the way back to Saint-Hélier, pass through the charming village of Saint John's, perfect for a break before wrapping up this wonderful escapade.

Day 3: Jersey East Coast Loop (34 km / + 530 m)
Direction the east cost for a day full of discoveries! Stop off at the charming port of Le Rocque. Continue to the pottery museum, a testament to age-old craftsmanship, before reaching the impressive Château de Mont Orgueil, which has watched over the bay for over 800 years. Along the way, marvel at the vast golden expanses of the bays of Saint-Clément and Grouville, ideal for a contemplative break or a refreshing swim.
Return to Saint Helier for the night.
Day 4: Guernsey and Jerbourg Point (23 km / + 500 m)
Crossing (1 hour) to Guernsey. The day will be organized according to the crossing time. Disembark at Saint Peter where the loop begins. Cycle to the tip of Jerbourg which offers a magnificent panorama of the steep coast, Moulin Huet Bay or the small anchorage port of Saint's Bay. Return to Saint-Peter via narrow streets and green paths.

Day 5: the island of Sark
After an hour of crossing (without bike), you disembark on Sark. This island, cut off from the rest of the world, lives from traditional activities such as fishing, crafts or agriculture. No cars on the island, a paradise for pedestrians and cyclists! Go to the gardens of the seigneury and "the passage of the coupe" which are unmissable.
Return to Guernsey for the night.
Day 6: Guernsey West Coast Loop (28 km / + 515 m)
Today the route takes you through a bucolic landscape and you cycle through the hills, through pretty pastures before reaching the beautiful bay of Rocquaine which shelters the mysterious island of Lihou and its ruins of the old priory. On the way back, you take the Talbot Valley and you can visit the charming parish of Saint-Andrew, located in the heart of the island.
Overnight in Guernesey.
Day 7: return to Saint-Malo
Enjoy your free time to visit the extravagant house of Victor Hugo, or stroll one last time in the small streets of the city center. Crossing to Saint-Malo (included) according to the timetable of the maritime shuttle. End of your journey after the boat crossing.
