Lake Constance lies between Germany, Austria and Switzerland. It is famous for its picturesque towns and villages, among which are Lindau, Stein am Rhein and Bregenz. This short, sporty cycling holiday invites you to explore the stunning landscapes around Lake Constance.

Day 1 : Arrival in Constance

Delivery of travel documents and handling of bicycles. Discover the old quarter of Niederburg and its lined medieval houses with rustic wine bars. In particular, you can admire the cathedral and the port in the beautiful city of Constance !
Overnight in Constance.

Day 2: Constance - Stein am Rhein - Constance (75 km)

You take the Gnadensee by bike to Radolfzell, a former imperial city that became a spa. Continue through the countryside along the Höri Peninsula to Stein am Rhein with its many frescoed houses. Return to Constance through the fishing villages along the shores of the lake.

Overnight in Constance.

Day 3: Constance - Lindau / Bregenz - approx. 50 to 65 km + ferry ride

You take the boat from Constance to Meersburg and continue your journey along the vineyards passing the birthplace of the Zeppelin (airship) in Friedrichshafen (it is possible to visit its museum). Go towards the Bavarian town of Lindau which is not lacking in originality and history. Then continue your journey to Bregenz the capital of this region of Vorarlberg in Austria known for its famous festival.
Overnight in Lindau or Bregenz.

Day 4: Lindau Bregenz - Constance, 70 to 85 km

You'll satart your day crossing of the Rhine Delta Nature Park to Altenrhein. You continue on the Lake Constance cycle path through apple's fields and the towns of Arbon and Romanshorn. Then return to Constance, the stage of about 80 km is facilitated by the very flat relief and well-equipped cycle paths. End your stay with a stroll through the old town and enjoy an ice cream or a good beer.

Day 5: Constance.

End of your stay after breakfast. Possibility of additional nights.

Technicality:

- 50 to 80 km of hiking per day, or about 4 to 7 hours of cycling.

- Partly signposted route, map reading desired.

The bike :

• Rental bike: 27-gear standard bike or ebike. It can be picked up from oyour hotel in Constance. At the end of the tour, you will have to leave the rented bike at the hotel and notify reception.
• Personal bike: We do not recommend bikes with small tires. Hybrid bikes and mountain bikes are excellent. Remember to check your bicycle before setting off. At the end of the circuit, you will have to take care of your bike.

Assistance:

Assistance in the event of breakdown (except punctures for which we do not intervene).

Luggage:

During the stay, they are transported by a courier or by our team and limited to one piece of luggage per person. (max. 20 kg)

The road book with route descriptions will be sent to you by post and e-mail before your departure. Our local partner will provide you with hotel and restaurant vouchers and luggage tags.
