Swiss Chocolate Loop by Bike via Beautiful Lakes
The Lakes Route takes its name from the multitude of lakes it reveals along its path, from Lake Geneva to Lake Constance. It leads you through some of Switzerland's most splendid tourist regions, allowing you to discover several renowned towns such as Vevey, Gruyères, Gstaad, Interlaken, Lucerne, and many more. This route offers the opportunity to appreciate Switzerland's most beautiful panoramas in a single trip!

Day 1: Arrival in Zurich
Free time to arrive in Zurich. Take some time to stroll through the Old Town (Altstadt) or wander along Bahnhofstrasse, the prestigious main street leading to the train station. You can also opt for a walk along the banks of the Limmat River or by the lake.
Day 2: From Zurich to Rapperswil (43 km / +465 m)
You leave Zurich via the outskirts to reach Kilchberg, home to the headquarters of one of the world's most famous chocolatiers: Lindt-Spüngli. Enter the Chocolate Museum for an immersive experience that engages all your senses. The route continues, taking you up the moraine hills of the Hirzel. You then descend to Pfäffikon, a town on the shores of Lake Zurich. From there, simply cross the lake to reach Rapperswil, your stop for the night.
Day 3: From Rapperswil to Einsiedeln by train | From Einsiedeln to Brunnen by bike (43 km / +540 m)
Upon arrival in Einsiedeln, take some time to visit the magnificent monastery. The route then leads you through the marshes and along the shores of Lake Sihl to the Iberegg Pass. There, you'll see the magnificent Gran Mythen, a peak that stands out against the landscape. After enjoying the panoramic view, you'll cycle towards Lake Lucerne and Brunnen, a beautiful lakeside resort.
Day 4: From Brunnen to Beckenried by boat | From Beckenried to Lucerne (30 km / +220 m)
The day begins with a boat trip across Lake Lucerne. Enjoy this pleasant journey as you gently cross to the other side of the lake, to Beckenried. Hop on your bike and cycle past the airfield of Pilatus Aircraft, the famous Swiss manufacturer. At Stanssfad, you'll reach the shores of the lake. Next, a scenic route along the shoreline connects you to the Horw peninsula in the heart of Lucerne. A visit to the old town is a must.
Day 5: From Lucerne to Zug (31 km / 225 m)
This stage begins along the Reus River on a beautiful cycle path. Along the way, stop in Root, where the Aeschbach chocolate shop is ready to share all its secrets. Zug is just a few kilometers away. We recommend leaving your bikes at the hotel and enjoying a ride along the lovely lakeside promenade.
Day 6: From Zug to Zurich (32 km / +320 m)
On this final day, you'll cycle primarily through the "Wildnispark Sihlwald," a magnificent forest nature park. It extends right to the outskirts of Zurich.
Day 7: Zurich
The tour concludes after breakfast. Additional night(s) are available.
