The Moselle Valley by bike aboard the MS Olympia

Half-timbered houses, vineyard landscapes and lush valleys await you on this bike-and-boat journey between Koblenz and Saarburg. Highlights of the route include Trier’s Porta Nigra, the “German Corner” where the Moselle meets the Rhine in Koblenz, as well as Saarburg, sometimes referred to as “Little Venice”. At 544 km long, the Moselle is the Rhine’s largest tributary and Germany’s second most important inland waterway. The Saar, its main tributary, stretches over 246 km. The quality of the cycle paths along this route is excellent and features almost no elevation gain. This cycling holiday along the Moselle is therefore suitable for all ability levels.
