Experience a cycling trip in the heart of the Champagne region, marked by the history of France and by arts and culture. Champagne is renowned for its vineyards. You will cycle through the countryside between the Marne Valley and the Reims Natural Park, admiring the beautiful scenery. You will meet residents who are passionate about their region. Champagne region also has a rich religious heritage with especially the Gothic Cathedral of Reims.

Day 1 - Arrival in Reims
You can arrive at your hotel in Reims in the afternoon. At around 6 p.m., you will receive a briefing on your trip. You can then take a stroll through the streets of Reims.

Day 2 - Reims - Matougues ~ 50 km
After breakfast, you will cycleon your bikes towards Matougues. You will have the pleasure to wander through the typical villages of the vineyards of the "Montagne de Reims" such as Mailly Champagne, Verzenay and Bouzy. This first cycling stage ends in Matougues.

Day 3 - Matougues - Epernay ~ 30 KM
After breakfast, you'll take a pleasant stroll along the peaceful Marne Canal towards Épernay. The afternoon will be devoted to discovering Épernay, the prestigious capital of Champagne wines. Stroll along the “Avenue de Champagne”, lined with majestic wine merchants' houses, and immerse yourself in the fascinating history of this exceptional terroir. Take the opportunity to visit some of the region's most impressive cellars, veritable underground cathedrals housing the finest vintages, before enjoying an unforgettable tasting session.

Day 4 - Epernay, Loop in the Marne Valley ~ 37 KM
This beautiful stage guides you through the vineyards and mountains on the Route de Champagne along Marne la Vallée. Here you will admire a rich wine heritage. This bike route will offer you breathtaking views of the Marne Valley. This path through the vineyards leads you to Hautvillers, a charming village known for its Benedictine abbey. On the way to Venteuil, you can admire the view of the Château de Boursault. Take the other side of the Marne to return to Epernay.

Day 5 - Epernay - Loop in Côte de Blancs ~ 28 km
Today, set off to discover the vineyards of the “Côte des Blancs”, the cradle of the Chardonnay grape variety. Following the famous “Route du Champagne”, you'll reach Pierry, where you'll have the chance to explore an 18th-century castle and its cellars steeped in history.
Your itinerary continues by bike to the church of Chavot-Courcourt, an architectural gem dating from the 12th century. After a stop at Cuis, where you can admire a superb Romanesque church, the route takes you along the cliffs to Cramant. There, you'll be surprised by a monumental 8.50-metre bottle standing proudly on the heights. Not far from there, the charming wine-growing village of Avize welcomes you with its frescoed facades. You will then return to Epernay in the afternoon.

Day 6 - Epernay - Reims ~ 36 km
After breakfast, the last cycling stage in Champagne will allow you to explore the national forest of Hautvillers by crossing the Golden Valley of Avenay and Germaine. The trip ends in Reims passing by Ludes by bike.

Your cycling trip ends after breakfast. You have the possibility to book an extra night to enjoy the city of Reims.
