MS Primadonna on the Danube
We offer you a cruise on board the Primadonna along the Danube, on the Eurovelo 6 route. This bike and boat trip starts in the city of Passau in Austria and ends in Serbia. You will be able to taste many flavors and discover incredible landscapes along the Danube.

Day 1: Arrival in Passau
If you reach the city of Passau by train or car, you can take advantage of a transfer from the Donau Touristik-Infopoint parking lot or from Passau's main train station to your cruise ship. Embarkation from 4:30 pm and welcome drink on board the Primadonna.
The boat leaves at 6 pm and sails on the winding curve of the Danube to discover a beautiful landscape.
Day 2: Wachau Valley (46 km)
This stage takes you first by ferry to Wiesen. Then you cycle along the Danube cycle path to the Habsburg castle of Persenbeug and Emmersdorf/Melk through the Wachau valley. This tour ends in Spitz.
Day 3: Donau-Auen - Bratislava (48 km)
Today, you will enjoy a guided tour of the city of Bratislava (1 hour). You will then go to the island of Danubiana Meulensteen (individual visit: gallery, cafes, etc.) and return to your ship.
Day 4 - Puszta (58 km)
Guided tour of the Kalocsa Cathedral and the Baroque Episcopal Palace (with the crown of St. Stephen). You can see herds of cattle, pigs and horses on this stage before reaching the baroque town of Baja (tower of the town hall, old town). You will have the opportunity to admire interesting sculptures on the most famous pilgrimage route in Hungary.
Day 5: Sava - Belgrade cycle track (45 km)
Visit the city and the Kalemegdan fortress. You join the Sava cycle track to the island of Ada Ciganlija and the lake Savsko jezero. Return on the famous Brankov bicycle bridge to Zemun and through the car-free district of Waterfront. You will enjoy an exceptional view of the illuminated metropolis of Belgrade.
Day 6: Silver Lake (41 km)
From about 7:00 am, the Primadonna sails through the pierced valley of the Iron Gates Carpathians, where the Danube is up to 60 meters deep and sometimes only 65 meters wide. You will visit Golubac, the largest fortress in Serbia (individual visit). Bike tour in Veliko Gradište on flat roads without traffic to Silbersee/Srebrno jezero and back to the ship.
Day 7: Vojvodina (46 km)
Novi Sad was the former capital of southern Hungary and is known as the pearl of Vojvodina. The medieval fortress of Petrovaradin is a place of visit impossible to circumvent of the city. It offers a breathtaking view of the Danube, the cities and the mountains in the background. You will ride on the Danube bike path without a car.
Day 8: Duna-Dráva National Park (38 km)
On this day you visit the site of the Battle of Mohács and ride through the Duna-Dráva National Park to Kolked (stork museum). Continue to the memorial of the battle of Sátorhely and back to the Primadonna. Optional: Bus trip to baroque Pécs/Fünfkirchen (including city tour).
Day 9: Sightseeing in Budapest and bike tour to Margaret Island (24 km)
You can also choose the option of a 3-hour bus tour of the city. Active tour: along the Danube bike path to Szentendre and back (+ 34 km).
Day 10: Donau-Auen National Park (56 km)
Cycle from Rothenburg to Eckartsau to visit the imperial castle. Continue to Vienna and then through the Donau-Aen National Park to the Primadonna.
Day 11: Vienna (23 km)
Visit of the city of Vienna for about 2 hours. You will then take the Danube bike path on the Eurovelo 6 to the center and then the Ringstrasse bike path to the Kunsthistorisches Museum, one of the world's leading galleries.
Day 12: Mauthausen - Linz (39 km)
Ferry crossing (+ 3,50 €) to the right bank in Austria's oldest city, Enns. Via St. Florian (Abbey) to Linz. Return of the rental bikes on this day and a concert on the Bruckner organ to end the trip on an extraordinary note.
Day 13: Disembarkation in Passau
The trip ends after a final breakfast on board the Primadonna. You should vacate the cabins at 10:00 a.m. Transfer by bus to the private parking lot Donau Touristik/Main Station Passau and back.
