Cycling route from Paris to Mont-st-Michel

The Véloscénie represents 450 km of route to discover the history of France on greenways, marked trails and small country roads. You travel at your own pace from the heart of the Chevreuse valley to the Normandy countryside.

On the program of this exceptional route, you can visit the castles of Versailles, Maintenon or Rambouillet, the medieval town of Domfront and of course the unmissable Mont-st-Michel.

Traveling on the Véloscénie

Connect two emblematic places in France by traveling this cycle route between Paris and the bay of Mont-st-Michel. Cycling is a historical, cultural but also spiritual journey. You will discover picturesque villages through the countryside, formal gardens, imperial forests and the 3 regional natural parks of the upper Chevreuse valley.

Traveling on the Véloscénie is accessible to all, it is a secure and marked route.

Véloscénie, a connected route

The Véloscénie route is connected to other cycle routes very popular with cycle tourists! Did you know that Parisians can easily reach the Seine by bike, take the Eurovelo 3 or even reach London?

And at Domfront, on the Véloscénie, you can take the Vélo Francette to arrive in the Marais Poitevin, birthplace of la Bicyclette Verte.
