This cycling tour is a European classic with a unique charm between the Alps and the Adriatic Sea. Experience an exceptional cycling trip in Italy between Vicenza, Venice and Padua or even Chioggia. Discover the Prosecco vineyards between Asolo and Treviso and the elegant villas of the Venetian nobility.

Highlights of the stay:

  • Vicenza and its Palladian architecture
  • Chioggia and Venice
  • Treviso
  • Burci Cemetery
  • Padua city center

Day 1 - Arrival in Vicenza

Arrival in the evening and installation at the hotel, reception around 6:00 p.m. You can take the opportunity to do a walk through this historic town, characterized by the buildings of the famous architect Andrea Palladio. We strongly recommend that you visit its 15th century Basilica, its Olympic theater and its villas
Overnight in Vicenza.

Day 2 - Circuit from Vicenza to Bassano del Grappa - 40 Km

You cross the countryside towards Marostica, a small town surrounded by the ancient walls of its castles. Then you cycle to Bassano del Grappa, a city at the foot of the Vicentine pre-Alps, famous for its wooden bridge designed by architect Andrea Palladio, over the Brenta river.
Overnight in Bassano del Grappa.

Day 3 - Circuit from Bassano del Grappa to Treviso - 65 Km

You leave the valley and continue to Asolo and across the plain to Treviso where you can appreciate its many rivers, the beautiful houses that border them and the many fashion stores of this city of reference.
Overnight in Treviso.

Day 4 - Circuit from Treviso to Mestre / Venice - 25/45 Km

You will leave the city of Treviso behind to follow the Sile river to Casale. You walk past the Burci Cemetery (a boat cemetery also serving as a refuge for the aquatic fauna). Then you will leave for Mestre.

Day 5 - Circuit from Mestre / Venice

Take advantage of this day to stroll around Venice. The Grand Canal runs alongside the most beautiful residences, often of Byzantine influence and some of which date back to the 13th century. Borrow the Rialto Bridge to reach Saint Mark's Square, lined with arcades. Without forgetting the Palace of
Doges or the Bridge of Sighs. Then take the road again and cross the island of Lido and the island of Pellestrina. If you visit Chioggia, we advise you to stroll through the narrow streets of this coastal town.

Night in Mestre.

Day 6 - Circuit from Mestre to Padua - 55 Km

Heading north, you reach Padua on the Bacchiglione river. She claims to be the most ancient city of Italy. You can visit the great Basilica dedicated to Saint Anthony of Padua. Also admire the Palace of Reason, Piazza dei Signori and other religious buildings.
Overnight in Padua.

Day 7 - Circuit from Padua to Vicenza - 50 Km

Finally, you return to your city of departure, Vicenza. Along the way, you pass the Villa Rotonda, the most famous of the Palladian villas. Just before entering Vicenza, you can admire the Villa Valmarana Ai Nani, with its superb frescoes by Tiepolo. Enjoy the city of Vicenza one last time.
Overnight in Vicenza.
