Presentation of the boat :
Since September 2014, this cruise barge has had new owners and operators: Martijn van Tatenhove and Marjorie Kersten. They have experience as operators of a passenger barge for many years. Martijn is your captain on board. He grew up in a family of hotel and restaurant owners and is also a qualified chef. Marjorie has a degree in tourism from Breda High School and works in public relations. The friendly and highly motivated couple gave the interior of the ‘Clair d'Étoile’ a makeover during the winter of 2014-2015, creating a warm and cosy atmosphere. The Clair d'Étoile sails under the Dutch flag and is a small river barge that operates on tours in the Netherlands, Belgium and France.
On the upper deck, you'll find a pleasant and comfortable saloon with heating, air conditioning, large panoramic windows, a restaurant area, a seating area and a small bar. Wi-Fi is also available. The Clair d'Étoile also has a very spacious sun deck with chairs and tables where you can relax, admire the scenery while sailing or join the skipper in the wheelhouse.
Description of cabins :
On the lower deck, the Clair d'Étoile has twelve comfortable cabins. Ten twins (7 m²) with two separate single beds and two doubles (6 m²) with a double bed. Each cabin has a private shower, toilet and washbasin. All cabins are equipped with ventilation, central heating, air conditioning and a window; the windows of the double cabins can be opened. The windows in twin cabins are fixed for safety reasons. Each cabin also has a mini safe and hairdryer.
