Within these wonderful landscapes, you will find some picturesque villages. There a specific care is given to the environment which led to a scrupulous conservation of nature.

Nature has been bountiful with Malaga Province and one can observe amazing contrasts : the huge orange tree garden of Guadalhorce valley, El Chorro lakes, the Presa del Guadalhorce, the prodigious natural gorge of Los Gaitanes, the depression, to the north of the the province, near Antequera and the surrounding mountains around Ronda with the Sierra de las Nieves, the Nature Park and the Biosphere Reserve.

It has to be mentioned that the inland villages are rich in historical and artistic heritage.
