The Patria, sailing on the Neckar, Rhine, Moselle and Saar, is an authentic ship that has been adapted for cycling cruises. The ship sails under Dutch Flag and management. It had its sailing area in The Netherlands for many years and, as from 2011, it has been sailing in Germany. The Patria is a very popular ship for boat & bike tours.
The Patria has 34 twin cabins (7 m² – 75 sq.ft.) of which 15 are situated on the lower deck and 19 on the upper deck. Each cabin has two separate single beds, a private shower, toilet and basin. On the upper deck, the windows of the cabins can be opened, on the lower deck the windows of the cabins are fixed for safety reasons; these lower deck cabins have an individually regulated air conditioning system. All cabins have central heating, a ventilation system and a hair dryer.
On the lower deck, you will find the cozy, air-conditioned restaurant where the meals of excellent quality will be served. The beautiful, air-conditioned lounge of the Patria, with TV, a bar and large windows, is situated on the upper deck. Wi-Fi is available. On the partially covered sun deck, there is a cycle shed as well as sitting places (tables and chairs) where guests can relax on nice evenings and enjoy the scenery while cruising.
