Brittany is full of treasures and legends to discover or rediscover. At La Bicyclette Verte, we believe that Brittany truly reveals itself by bike. Whether along the coast or inland, you'll often have to put your foot down to enjoy a beautiful panorama, stroll through an authentic village, enjoy a crepe, or visit a magnificent monument.

From the Pink Granite Coast to the Gulf of Morbihan, via the Nantes-Brest Canal or Mont-Saint-Michel, we offer a beautiful catalog for discovering Brittany by bike.

Brittany by Bike, the Pink Granite Coast, and the Vélomaritime

We offer beautiful cycling trips to discover Brittany's most famous coastline. This destination is home to the Vélomaritime (Sea Bike) and its beautiful cycle paths. We've drawn inspiration from this to offer you a short trip between Lannion, Paimpol, and the island of Bréhat, or a slightly longer trip between Roscoff and Paimpol. Discover magnificent villages like Perros-Guirec and Plougasnou, headlands with breathtaking views, magnificent bays, and charming coves. The island of Bréhat, nicknamed the flower island, punctuates both journeys with panache.

Brittany by bike, between land and sea, from Rennes to Mont-Saint-Michel

Brittany by bike is a land of contrasts, and this tour is a fine example. Starting from its capital, Rennes, you'll follow rivers and canals and discover magnificent flower-bedecked locks. After skirting ponds and lakes, and visiting historic towns, abbeys, and castles, the sea air is palpable. Dinard is where you meet the English Channel. You'll hardly leave the coast until your final destination. You'll then be on the Emerald Coast and enjoy cities with unique atmospheres: Saint-Malo and Cancale. Mont-Saint-Michel serves as a magnificent finale.

The Nantes-Brest Canal by Bike, part of the Vélodyssée

We invite you to discover Brittany by bike along its most famous canal: the Nantes-Brest Canal. Brittany has always inspired dreams and fantasy. Discover the legends of this region with its strong and unique identity by strolling along the shores of Lake Guerlédan or in the medieval town of Josselin.

We've taken a few liberties to stray from the Canal when it seemed appropriate. These 7-day, 6-night cycling trips in the heart of Brittany take you between Redon (or Brain-sur-Vilaine) and Quimper. You'll have the opportunity to visit Pontivy, Glomel, Carhaix, and Chateauneuf-du-Faou while cycling with the wind in your hair.

This is an ideal cycling trip for your stay with family or friends. The Canal offers a taste of inland Brittany with little elevation gain. It's a shaded towpath, with little wind, and full of flowers. You'll enjoy a superb panorama of the valleys and mountains during your stay along the water.

On the Vélodyssée, the Nantes-Brest Canal runs between Roscoff and Nantes. At Port-de-Carhaix, the route from Roscoff joins the canal.
