Day 1 - Tonnerre - Ancy-le-Franc / Pacy-sur-Armançon - 26 or 34 Km
Arrival in the morning in Tonnerre, reception and handling of the bikes before departure.
Discover on your journey, the magnificent Renaissance castle of Tanlay (not included). You can visit it or continue to discover the magnificent valley of the Abbey of Quincy. The rest of this journey will take you to a second Renaissance work: the village of Ancy-le-Franc. Take advantage of a guided tour until 4 or 5 p.m. depending on the season (not included).
Dinner and overnight in Ancy-le-Franc or Pacy-sur-Armançon.
Day 2 - Ancy-le-Franc / Pacy-sur-Armançon - Montbard - 30 or 37 Km
After breakfast, departure for Montbard. You will discover La Grande Forge de Buffon, and other lesser-known wonders, but all as charming as the mills, washhouses, churches, castles in Aisy or Rougemont. Take the time to discover and visit the Cistercian Abbey of Fontenay by adding a further 20 km to you ritinerary for the day..

Day 3 - Montbard - Semur-en-Auxois - 35 to 55 km
TThe Burgundy Canal gently winds its way away from the Brenne valley to reach its watershed. The Pouillenay ladder, with its 37 locks spread over 12 km, represents a monumental challenge for the bargemen of yesteryear. For cyclists, it's a unique opportunity to watch the fascinating spectacle of the locks being manoeuvred in complete peace and quiet.
At the end of the day, you will be able to appreciate the calm at the edge of the Burgundy Canal and discover the medieval town of Semur-en-Auxois.
Dinner and overnight in Semur-en-Auxois.
Day 4 - Semur-en-Auxois - Châteauneuf-en-Auxois - 50 Km
Crossing the Auxois and its groves with discovery of the Collegiate Church of St Thibault, the Château d'Eguilly, the Voûtes de Pouilly (the Burgundy Canal is underground), the village and the castle of Châteauneuf or that of Commarin. You probably won't have time to visit everything!

Day 5 - Châteauneuf-en-Auxois - Dijon - 50 Km
You are now crossing the wildest part of the Burgundy Canal: the Ouche valley. In its perpendicular valleys you can admire the Château de Barbirey and the Abbey of Bussière.
Your last stage reaches Dijon via Lake Kir. Here you are in the capital of the Dukes of Burgundy and of gastronomy.
