We offer you an oenological bike trip between the cities of Dijon and Beaune through renowned vineyards. During this long cycling weekend, you can discover the Côte de Nuits and the Côte de Beaune.
Take a cycling trip at your own pace in the heart of the prestigious Grands Crus vineyards of Gevrey-Chambertin, Vosne-Romanée, Pommard and Meursault.

Day 1: Arrival in Chalon-sur-Saône

Welcome and brief presentation of the circuit with our local correspondent. Delivery of bikes if reserved.
Night in Chalon-sur-Saône.

Day 2: from Chalon-sur-Saône to Tournus - 35 km

The route takes you along the Voie Bleue, a route which connects the Moselle to the Saône. Cycle through the alluvial plain of the Chalonnais region to Tournus.

Day 3: from Tournus to Mâcon - 34 km

Resumption of the Voie Bleue route to Mâcon. Your walk is punctuated by typical villages, built around Romanesque-style churches. You follow the Saône, a navigable river since antiquity. Arrival in Mâcon is via the quays which you follow to the marina. Your neighborhoods are located in the city center.

Day 4: from Mâcon to Cluny - 28 km

You leave the Saône valley which you will find on the last day returning to Chalon-sur-Saône. The route takes you into the countryside. The vineyards appear and you cross the longest tunnel in Europe reserved for cyclists (former railway tunnel) with a length of 1.6 km. Cluny, your stopover for the night, can be seen from afar with the 3 bell towers of the Abbey which you absolutely must visit. It is a charming village with its Art and Archeology museum, its national stud farm and its beautiful residences.

Day 5: from Cluny to Chalon-sur-Saône - 51 km

Saddle up and head north! Before joining Chalon-sur-Saône, you have the chance to visit authentic, well-preserved villages with a rich heritage: churches, Rennaissance de Cormatin castle. The route continues along an old railway line, at the foot of the Côte Chalonnaise vineyards.

Day 6: Chalon-sur-Saône

End of your cycling holiday in southern Burgundy after breakfast.

Ground :
Slightly hilly terrain. You will ride on small paved wine and country roads, as well as on cycle paths. No or very little traffic.

Climate :
Pleasant, little precipitation, localized rain.

Technicality:
28 to 51 km of cycling per day, or approximately 2 to 5 hours of cycling. from 180 to 330 m of altitude difference per day.

The bike :

• Rental bike: 24-speed VTC which will be given to you upon your arrival. Possibility to rent an electric bike on request. A security deposit will be required.
• Rental bikes are always delivered to the hotel, they include a repair kit, lock, smartphone holder, rear bag and front bag and helmet (recommended). At the end of the tour, you will need to leave this bike at the last hotel and notify reception. We will take care of his return.
• Personal bicycle: We do not recommend bicycles with small tires. VTC and mountain bikes are excellent. Remember to service your bicycle before leaving. At the end of the tour, you will need to take charge of your own bicycle.

Support:
Assistance in the event of a breakdown (except punctures for which we do not intervene).

Luggage :
They are transported by a courier or by our team and limited to one piece of luggage per person. (max. 20 kg).

Parking in Chalon-sur-Saône:

Hotels do not have parking. Secure paid parking lots located near the hotel (count €30 for a week).
