Day 1 : Arrival in Biarritz
Arrival at Bayonne Anglet airport in Biarritz where you will be welcomed in your hotel. Delivery of documentation on the region and a road book on which your tour will be indicated. You will have time to stroll around Biarritz, known for its magnificent beaches and surfers! Also renowned for its thalassotherapy cures and its numerous golf courses, Biarritz is appreciated all over the world.

Day 2 : From Biarritz to Hondarribia - 32 km
From day one, set off to explore the natural spaces of the Basque Corniche with its ridges, cliffs, agricultural lands, and mountains! Take advantage of this route to discover the many villages along the way: Saint-Jean-de-Luz and its famous bay, Hendaye and the Abbadia estate! A river shuttle departing from Hendaye takes you to Hondarribia, a charming fishing village with colorful Basque houses, known for its tapas and vibrant nightlife. It also features numerous stately buildings classified as historical and artistic monuments.
Overnight in Hondarribia.
Day 3 : From the ocean to the Basque land, from Hondarribia to Ainhoa (or Espeletteà - 43 km or 48 km
From Hondarribia, take the shuttle back to Hendaye, then continue your journey to Ascain, where you can discover its famous Roman bridge and winding streets. Next, head to the village of witches... which, according to legend, is still haunted today. Your route will then lead you to the picturesque village of Ainhoa, with its half-timbered houses, palombières, and pastures dotted with sheep. Be sure to admire its church and the ancient gravestones in the cemetery.
Dinner and overnight in Ainhoa or Espelette.
Day 4 : From Ainhoa (or Espelette) to Itxassou or Cambo les bains 20 - 40 km
Today, cross the Pinodieta pass and travel through the village of Espelette, known for its shops, its Pottoks (small wild horses), and its famous Espelette pepper that will surprise your taste buds! You will then follow in the footsteps of Napoleon I by cycling along the Road of the Peaks, built during his time!
Dinner and overnight stay in Itxassou or Cambo les Bains.
Day 5 : Back to the Basque coast, from Itxassou or Cambo les bains to Biarritz - 45 km
You take a cycle path that you will follow to Bayonne. You will have time to enjoy this city known for its local festivals and gourmet cuisine. Continue your cycle route along the Anglet coast to finish your stage in Biarritz.
