Day 1: Arrival in Orléans
Explore Orléans, a city of art and history at the crossroads of the Beauce, Sologne, Gâtinais, and Val de Loire regions. The city boasts numerous historical and cultural landmarks, including:

Day 2: From Orléans to Blois 64 km
This route takes you to the confluence of the Loiret and Loire rivers at Pointe de Courpain, followed by scenic orchards leading you to Beaugency, a medieval town along the Loire that will captivate you with its rich historical and natural heritage.
The Royal Castle of Blois, once home to many kings, sits high above the city, offering stunning views. The castle showcases a blend of architectural styles, spanning from the Middle Ages to the 12th century.

Optional: additional day in Blois to discover the châteaux of Chambord and Cheverny in a loop (68 km / 49 km for Chambord alone).
Day 3: From Blois to Amboise 43 km
After exploring the banks of the Loire, you’ll cycle through the picturesque hillsides and orchards of the region, eventually arriving at the charming town of Amboise. Along the way, you can admire the Château de Chaumont. The gardens of the Chaumont-sur-Loire estate are particularly stunning during the International Garden Festival, which takes place from late April to early November.

Optional: additional day in Amboise to discover the Château de Chenonceau in a loop (39 km).
Day 4: From Amboise to Tours 28 km
On this stage, wine tasting and cellar visits will be the main highlights before reaching the capital of Touraine. From its Roman heritage to being the French capital for nearly two centuries, Tours has played a significant role in French history. You can also explore the Lussault-sur-Loire Aquarium, Europe’s first freshwater aquarium.

Day 5 : End of the tour in Tours after breakfast
The tour ends after breakfast. You have the option to book an extra night in Tours or Orléans, or alternatively, arrange a train back to Orléans.
