The Marais Poitevin Natural Park by bike
Discover the Marais Poitevin by bike, a magical and wild place, a veritable cathedral of greenery. Here, only the canoe or the boat can take you along the water and the bike on the paths. Discover this beautiful region of France, land of land and water where man has forgotten nothing of his traditions.
Day 1 - Canal loop - 25 Km
Reception at the Green Bicycle from 9:30 am in the morning. First cycle route towards Bazoin along the Sèvre Niortaise, a true breadcrumb trail, through the wet marsh, along the canals, conches and gullies.
Lunch not provided.
This circuit brings you back to the accommodation, on the edge of the wet marsh.
Check-in at the hotel from 3 p.m. in the afternoon.
Dinner at the restaurant in Arçais or Damvix 4 km from your hotel, depending on availability.
2nd day - Maillezais loop - 28/38 Km
After your breakfast, head to the pier next to your hotel to enjoy your guided boat trip. Then, take your bike to make the Maillezais loop, you arrive in Vendée! Possibility of visiting the 11th century abbey. This tour goes from wet marsh to dry marsh.
End of your discovery trip at the end of the afternoon. Possibility to book an additional night.
